Individual Therapy
Build coping and problem-solving skills for anxiety, ADHD, stress, self-esteem, and life transitions.

Confidence comes from knowing you can handle what comes next. I'm Sara Cohn, a licensed clinical social worker in White Plains, New York, who helps children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigate anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, social challenges, relationship concerns, and life transitions. Drawing on nearly 20 years of experience supporting children and families in school settings, I bring a warm, practical, and collaborative approach to my private practice, with a focus on skills you can use—and trust—in everyday life.

Ways I can help
Build coping and problem-solving skills for anxiety, ADHD, stress, self-esteem, and life transitions.
Identify unhelpful patterns, communicate more clearly, and practice new ways of working through conflict together.
Find concrete strategies for big feelings, school challenges, family stress, boundaries, and changing needs at home.
Groups in White Plains
Find support in shared experiences and practice skills you can bring into everyday life.
Ages 10–12
As the middle school years approach, friendships can feel harder to navigate. This group gives children a place to practice noticing social cues, working through frustration and disagreements, getting through awkward moments, and recognizing friendships that feel right for them.
Together, we use games, role-play, conversation, and everyday situations to practice flexible thinking and build confidence with peers. The goal is to help children make meaningful connections while feeling comfortable being themselves.
Practice friendship skills in a supportive setting.
I'm interestedWomen navigating postpartum life
Life after a baby can hold happiness and overwhelm at the same time. Feeling exhausted, anxious, disconnected, or unsure of yourself can sit alongside changes in your relationships and sense of identity.
This group offers space to speak honestly with other women who understand this transition, find encouragement, and explore practical ways to care for yourself. You are welcome whether you are becoming a parent for the first time or welcoming another baby. Babies are welcome, too.
Come as you are. You can bring your baby.
I'm interestedI want cost to feel manageable. Flexible, pay-what-you-can rates are available for both groups.
